Meetup with Dževad Trumić
Google is probably the first webpage anyone has to encounter and get familiar with when starting to use the Internet. But, how many people had the opportunity to meet a person who worked exactly at Google? Have you ever dreamt that someone from Bosnia and Herzegovina had such a wonderful experience to work for Google? Could you ever imagine yourself sitting in front of this person and asking everything you want to know about him, Google and his work experience there? Well, on this Thursday, our scholars had the opportunity to meet Dževad Trumić, and chat with him.
Dževad has over 15 years of experience in site reliability engineering at Google. His career began at Google in 2003 where he was responsible for hardware systems operation and data center repair software automation. From 2010 to 2018 he was a part of the Traffic Team, Network Infrastructure SRE, Google Cloud. Today he works as Head of SRE at Goldman Sachs, one of the biggest investment banks in the world.
Last week we had a webinar with Dževad and this Thursday some of our scholars had the opportunity to directly chat with him at DKR – German Robotics Centre in Tuzla, and hear details regarding his magnificent work experience, some interesting moments he encountered as well as advice on how to achieve success in business life. He explained the whole motivational and inspirational story about his path towards science and business. He also shared useful tips on starting the business today, as it is usually not as simple as people think.
There is no doubt that this meetup was another great opportunity for our scholars to learn more from the experience of successful people and get useful tips, directions and advises to improve their careers. We all express great gratitude to Mr. Dževad, wishing him all the best in his future and looking forward to more Meetups of this type soon. Next week we will host another giant in business and entrepreneurship. Stay tuned to find out who else are we going to meet soon.
