FLS Workshop: Human Values in Technology by Nerko Hadziarapovic

We recently attended a thought-provoking workshop led by Nerko Hadziarapovic from Hogeschool Utrecht, focused on integrating human values into technology. This session blended an interesting lecture on justice, fairness, transparency, and accountability with hands-on group work, tackling real-world tech challenges.

The interactive exercises allowed students to translate ethical principles into actionable system requirements and solutions. The workshop wrapped up with a dynamic pitch session, where students presented their ideas and received valuable feedback. It was an empowering experience that deepened their understanding of designing tech for the greater good.
