Goran Barbir is the foundation’s ambassador in China and he had the opportunity to give a brief introduction of the foundation's work to Balkans and Chinese professionals in Shanghai.
Goran Barbir had the honor to present the foundation’s work in Shanghai. The event was attended by over 70 guests, that included several professionals from the former Yugoslavia, expats in Shanghai and Chinese business professionals. The US consul to China was also In attendance. Interestingly enough, Bosnian food was served at the event by a Singaporean chef. Bosnian/Herzegovinian culture, culinary specialities, tourism was promoted through video material. Goran had the pleasure to present an alternative view on Bosnia & Herzegovina by showing the great work the foundation does and amazing young people who are helping change the face of the country.
The evening was organised by Denis Rajic, Executive Assistant U.S. Consulate General Shanghai. Denis is originally from Banja Luka and Goran naturally made the connection. The event was held at Umaami Global Kitchen in Shanghai.
