The Making of Future Leaders: Adna Čosić
Our young leaders are already well known as persons who use each second of their time and every possible chance to inspire the youngsters.
One of them is our scholar and volunteer Adna Čosić. Adna is a Mechanical engineering student at the University of Zenica which has a traditional ceremony for welcoming new students at the beginning of each academic year.
"Last Monday the University of Zenica had a festive reception for all the freshman students at Mechanical engineering faculty. Besides the dean, rector, prorector and professors who had a chance to wish them best of luck I had the honor to say a few words as well. Of course, I wished them luck but I wanted to make the note that luck is just a small part of the total success. Success is more a product of the hard work, strong efforts, renunciation and commitment to what you love to do.
Every successful person is the integration of luck and years of all the things I mentioned earlier.
You need to have continuity in your work and that will help you reach the point that you want as a professional and leader.
And also you need to be involved in non-formal activities such as seminars, workshops, exchange programs, and volunteering programs and the reason is simple. A good engineer is a complete person who besides professional knowledge also needs to develop social skills and social responsibility. Please, be aware of what all the time. Those are skills that will help you to be most wanted at the labor market."- said Adna.
We are so proud of our member and we want to thank her for being an inspiring young woman who properly represents our mission and vision which is empowering the youth of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
