The best local QA event in Europe?!
Full house at Mistral
On 19th September, Sarajevo QA Crew made another outstanding event! With the great support from the Mistral company and EuroSTAR Conference, the biggest software testing conference in Europe, their QA meetup brought together almost 100 QA enthusiasts in Mistral company. The guests showed a huge interest in the meetup. After posting the event on social media, all places had been reserved in only three hours.
During this event, the audience had an opportunity to listen, discuss and learn more about Business Intelligence and ETL/Data Warehouse testing; how speed, responsiveness, and stability of software products can have an impact on the final product; and how important is a clean conversation between QAs and Developers in the agile sprint.
Sarajevo QA Meetup
The audience got inspired by the content and the Q&A session lasted for 30 minutes. Unlike before, this time the Sarajevo QA Crew decided to try something new. They introduced an interesting web browser app called Sli.do, where the audience could anonymously ask any questions before, during or after the presentations.
After Q&A session, Sarajevo QA Crew awarded two audience members, who published the best photos of the Meetup and used the right hashtags on the social media, with 100 BAM credit card and a limited edition of Mistral goodies. A great way to finish the official part of the event and move on to networking with snacks and drinks.
Sarajevo QA Crew is an initiative with the aim to gather all software quality assurance enthusiasts and professionals in Bosnia and Herzegovina to make a real QA community. They will organize events in order to network and discuss news in the field of software testing life cycle. Current events of the initiative include local meetups called "Let's Test Together".
The initiative was established in August 2018 by ambitious students Nina Mučibabić and Stojanka Danilović (our scholar), during their inspiring QA traineeship in Softhouse Balkans. At that time, the first meetup was awarded by EuroSTAR conference (the biggest software testing conference in Europe) and got the first place at their TeamSTAR competition for the best local educational testing event in Europe for 2018.
