Lejla met with BH Professionals at SAP Walldorf
Going around the globe during the past few years we learned that BH professionals, thanks to their talent and persistence, managed to build careers in many big international companies. SAP is not an exception. In case you are not familiar with SAP, it is a well-known multinational software corporation that makes enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations.
Last week our ambassador Lejla, who works as the Head of Demand Generation at SAP, was on a business trip at the SAP headquarters in Walldorf and she decided to connect with Bosnians who are based there. A small group of four was present since it occurred on Friday, but there are more than 20 Bosnians and Herzegovnians who work at SAP's headquarters.
"We discussed the company culture at the headquarters and our life at SAP, with a focus on roles we are taking. Everyone I met has a technical background and works as a senior developer (even for AI) or in the state of the art S/4HANA space. Quite impressive." said Lejla.
The meeting concluded at SAP’s employee “Kantine” with a joint lunch. A free restaurant that is feeding the masses, but demonstrates that SAP is taking employee's health and wellbeing seriously, with plenty of healthy food options and even ‘vegan only’ coffee machine.
This type of engagement builds the foundation to explore how our scholars could potentially get involved with projects and/ or programs at SAP – this could be through specific mentorship programs, internships or still newly developed engagements that we will be exploring now.
