BH Futures Foundation Scholars at Swiss Robotics Day
BH Futures Foundation is always very happy to support our scholars in their professional endeavors and ensure that they can learn and grow at world-class events, this time in Switzerland. Four scholars of our Foundation, Azra Hadžiemrić, Emela Devedžić, Saliha Mustafić, Maida Hodžić, together with Emina Malkić visited Zurich for two events: Swiss Robotics Day 2021 and a meet-up with members of the i-platform, a diaspora platform for the development of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The Swiss Robotics Day is Switzerland’s most comprehensive exhibition on robotics for service sectors. The event is based on a historically successful conference format with a trade-fair feel. However, what sets this event apart from others is that there was an opportunity during registration to schedule meetings with other participants and companies, which was an incredible opportunity for our scholar to network with other participants and leaders in the field of robotics. The Swiss Robotics brings together industry, researchers, innovators, creators, investors, engineers, and students to exchange and share experiences, new ideas, technologies and together, envision solutions to future needs.
The third day in Zurich was a day off for our scholars. After touring the Old Town and Lake Zurich, taking a walk along the banks of the Limmat River, and visiting the Swiss National Museum, the final activity was a meet-up with the diaspora in Switzerland organized by i-platform. Our scholars were introduced to the work of the platform and its causes, and they were invited to be a part of the platform’s team, thus expanding their network, and learning more about their opportunities for learning outside Bosnia & Herzegovina.
This whole experience has been of great value for our four scholars; knowledge, experience and network achieved at this event will be very useful to all participants in the further growth of their professional career. We are thrilled to have been represented by our incredible team of four hardworking scholars and Emina Malkić at this world-class event. Next year the same event will take place in Lausanne, and we are looking forward to being a part of this incredible story and to present the Foundation once again in the best possible way.
