Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Meeting: Reflections and Roadmap for the Future

The recent ELT meeting brought together team leaders to reflect on accomplishments, share insights, and set strategic plans for the upcoming quarter. With a focus on both reflection and preparation, the meeting served as an essential checkpoint to review progress made during Q3 and gear up for the challenges and opportunities in Q4.

Q3 Review: Celebrating Milestones and Insights

The first day centered on a thorough review of the third quarter. Each team leader provided insights into what was achieved, sharing successes and acknowledging areas for improvement. The review highlighted the remarkable progress across various initiatives, with team leaders discussing the objectives that were met, lessons learned, and the groundwork established for future projects. This sharing of feedback and outcomes encouraged a broader understanding of each team’s contributions and allowed leaders to align on the core priorities that would support the organization’s overall goals.

Looking Ahead to Q4: Planning for FLS and Beyond

The focus of Q4 is clear: advancing our mission and vision, with a particular emphasis on preparations for the Future Leaders Summit (FLS). As leaders presented their plans and strategies for the upcoming months, the discussion centered on synchronizing efforts to ensure the best outcomes for FLS. Each team outlined its objectives and proposed activities, helping to clarify everyone’s roles and responsibilities. This transparent exchange provided an opportunity to discuss details, ask questions, and align on a shared approach to ensure every participant is fully prepared to contribute to FLS’s success.

Workshop on Leadership Development: "7 Habits of Highly Effective People"

Day two featured an inspiring workshop led by Reshad Rovčanin based on Stephen R. Covey’s book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The workshop guided team members through principles aimed at personal and professional effectiveness. It offered insights into time management, proactive leadership, and teamwork, providing practical strategies that align with our goals of continuous growth and impactful leadership. The session allowed leaders to reflect on their personal habits, enhancing their effectiveness both as individuals and as a cohesive team.

Team-Building in the Escape Room: A Test of Collaboration and Problem-Solving

To close out the event, the team participated in an engaging team-building activity in an escape room. Split into two groups, one team worked together to “save the world from a nuclear attack,” while the other embarked on a thrilling mission to “steal a diamond.” The activity highlighted the importance of trust, communication, and quick decision-making—qualities essential to overcoming real-world challenges. This bonding experience brought a fresh perspective to teamwork and underscored the value of collaboration in high-stakes scenarios.

Looking Forward

The ELT meeting left each leader aligned, energized, and well-prepared for Q4. With a clear roadmap for FLS and a renewed commitment to each team’s objectives, the ELT is ready to continue driving the organization’s vision forward. By embracing these plans and fostering leadership development, we are setting a solid foundation not only for the upcoming quarter but for a successful year ahead.
