Scholars & staff attend ABSL Business Services Conference in Sarajevo

Representing the Bosnia & Herzegovina Futures Foundation at the ABSL 2024 conference “Transforming tomorrow”were staff members Melvisa Kovač and Selma Begović, as well as four scholars Muhamed Ganija, Ahmed Spahić, Jasmin Oruč, and Ibrahim Okić.

The conference featured a variety of experts and leaders from the business world, each delivering insightful speeches. Pawel Panczyj introduced us to global business trends, followed by Dr. Omer Softić who discussed current trends in business services and identified potential opportunities for the development of Bosnian companies.

Anita Grbavac shared insights into the real estate market, highlighting areas where Bosnia and Herzegovina can improve. Haris Kadenić then spoke about the current state of the talent market, explaining the challenges companies face during recruitment.

In addition to the speeches, there were panel discussions focused on the future of talent, technology, and the growth and development of business services. Senada Aljović gave a compelling talk on finding and developing the right talents in business.

One of the most inspiring stories came from Kenan Hodžić, founder of Meshmind, who provided valuable insights on how small and medium-sized enterprises can successfully grow and integrate into global markets. He emphasized the importance of innovation, strategic planning, and business flexibility.
