Six Scholars Embark on an Inspirational Trip to Vienna

On the first day of June, six of our amazing scholars— Ajla Korman, Asja Resic, Asja Hadzic, Amina Cehaja, Vladimir Mijic, and Haris Gusic —set off on an unforgettable journey to Vienna, Austria. This trip was filled with incredible company visits, inspiring meetings, and the exciting Vienna BH Professionals Meetup, creating memories and connections that will last a lifetime.

Our scholars packed their bags and flew to Vienna Saturday morning and headed off to explore the fabulous city. Thanks to Adela Mehic-Dzanic, our scholars had the opportunity to visit the fascinating Museum of Science and Technology and the thrilling Museum of Illusions on Sunday. We are grateful and proud to have Adela as our wonderful mentor and friend, and so are our scholars!

Monday: A Day of Discoveries

BAWAG Bank

The adventure began with a visit to BAWAG Bank, where the scholars learned about the bank's operations and explored opportunities for their future studies and careers. Meeting with Enver Sirucic, CFO and Deputy CEO, and Hutan Rahmani, Head of HR and Corporate Affairs, was an amazing start to the week. Their warmth and insights were truly inspiring, and the scholars even walked away with some fabulous BAWAG merchandise, making the experience all the more memorable.

BOSCH Office

After their time at BAWAG, the scholars took the nearest U-Bahn to the BOSCH office, where they were welcomed by Selma Ćudić. She showed them around, including a fascinating presentation on how AI is used to detect obstacles in self-driving cars. After the presentation, touring the labs where BOSCH tests supercars for major automotive brands was a thrilling experience, leaving everyone in awe of the innovation happening behind the scenes.
