Innovation Nation Winners Announced
The 2024 Innovation Nation program has concluded with another amazing final pitch session in front of 70 attendees online and in the Unipromet Hub in Sarajevo. 26 participants graduated from the 2024 Innovation Nation program and now have a solid underpinning in innovation & entrepreneurship having completed the 12 week intensive learning program and showcasing their startup concepts. The Awards Pool for Innovation Nation 2024 is supported by 387 Labs, while ZenDev and SETEC provided funding for the prototyping and operations of the entire program.

After the opening ceremony, our keynote Ned Lomigora delivered an inspirational keynote on “Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship” the power of AI and how it is going to revolutionise the start-up scene. Through the presentation, Ned talked about his career path and challenges, then the role of AI in solving the energy crisis with examples of projects he is currently working on, and shared a lot of advice with the participants about the importance of continuous learning and accepting challenges as integral elements of entrepreneurial careers.
All the teams had 5 minutes to pitch pitch their startup ideas demonstrating their learning outcomes, followed by 5 minutes of Q & A. They received valuable feedback and answered some tough questions before spending time with investors and further chatting about their ideas and next steps. Shortly thereafter, the winners were announced. While the judges were impressed with all the teams and their learning demonstrated after 12 weeks, the winners were chosen based on the level of maturity of the startup idea and ability execute.
