Empowering the Next Generation: First Ignite Academy Event
This past Saturday marked the launch of the first Academy Event for members of our Ignite program, and the energy throughout the day was truly inspiring.
Participants, who are final-year high school students from various cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, engaged in three dynamic and interactive workshops designed to build essential life and communication skills:
Assertive Communication with a focus on emotional regulation and conflict resolution, led by Aida Brdar, a social worker and integrative psychotherapist in training.
Team Communication, facilitated by Ena Milković from the BHFF Human Potential team, where participants explored the dynamics of effective teamwork and collaboration.
Critical Thinking and Media Literacy, delivered by psychologist Kerima Delibašić, aimed at helping students develop analytical thinking and navigate information in today’s digital age.
The students — now proud members of the Ignite community — showed exceptional motivation, curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn, grow, and develop new skills that will support them in both their academic and personal lives.
This event is just the beginning. A new set of workshops is scheduled for the end of April, continuing our mission to empower youth through education, self-awareness, and community building.
Stay tuned as we continue to spark growth and inspiration with the next generation of changemakers.
