Scholars attend Industry & Government forum on "Transition to electric vehicles in B&H"
Six of our scholars (Enisa Lišnjić, Azra Velić, Azra Hadžiemrić, Amel Helez, Faris Likić and Danijel Despotović) were given a special invitation to attended a half day industry and government panel discussion on ‘Transition to electric vehicles in B&H’ organized by Porsche BH in Sarajevo.
The panel gathered local and regional professionals from the industry and academia, who presented their experiences and practices of EU countries in transition to electric vehicles. BH Futures Foundation’s scholars have taken part in an interactive session on government policies and regulations and technical challenges presented by esteemed professors from University of Rijeka and International Burch University.
Porsche BH has taken the role of the initiator of the process of implementing electromobility in B&H, due to the European Union's proposal that tailpipe emissions from cars and vans must be 100% eliminated by 2035. B&H has already established an impressive number of 195 charging points, however, the number of registered electric vehicles is only 36, which is to be increased due to the regulations, infrastructure and subsidies.
Panel discussion and conferences that promote the vital role of the automotive industry in facing the environmental threats are more than welcome and supported these days.
Bosnia & Herzegovina Futures Foundation wants to sincerely thank Porsche BH for providing this wonderful opportunity for our scholars.
